AmeriCore – is perfectly suited to meet even the strictest building requirements and is usable as a core material in nearly every application where sandwich composites are used. Conformable to most surfaces, AmeriCore is ideal for uniformly increasing the thickness and stiffness of laminates. AmeriCore is comprised of 100% composite materials, has minimal resin demand, and chemically bonds with the laminate, forming a single component that makes delamination a nonissue. AmeriCore is a suitable replacement for wood and other reinforcements within composite laminates because it adds tremendous strength without absorbing water, rotting, or decomposing. Furthermore, AmeriCore has the added benefit of excellent screw retention. Lastly, AmeriCore FR and FR premium offer excellent fire resistance and smoke protection and is available in up to Class A fire resistance.
