AmeriCore™ Boards
Fiberglass Reinforced Lightweight Panels
Description
AmeriCore™ Boards are composite sandwich core panels that are reinforced with fiberglass on each side and meet the most stringent physical requirements of the marine, transportation, and construction industries. AmeriCore Boards are ideal for coring materials for highly loaded sandwich structures and for use on their own as a replacement for plywood. AmeriCore Boards are available from ½” to 4” thick, making them the perfect choice for transoms, bulkheads, stringers, decking, walls, and roofs. Furthermore, the mechanical properties of AmeriCore Boards far exceed those of urethane boards of the same density and thickness. AmeriCore Boards are comprised of 100% composite materials and are durable and long lasting. AmeriCore Boards are also weatherproof; they will not absorb water, rot, or deteriorate -- even with prolonged exposure to the earth's harshest environments. AmeriCore Boards are strong yet lightweight and offer the potential for reduced weight and increased fuel efficiency. AmeriCore Boards also have low thermal conductivity and offer excellent sound abatement, making for the most comfortable ride for passengers and cargo.
